In the aftermath of a fire, our Matterport technology offers an unparalleled advantage in conducting comprehensive 3D analyses of post-fire scenes.  

A Matterport 3D model rendering provides an accurate and comprehensive visual record of the affected area. This detailed representation enables investigators, insurance assessors, and reconstruction teams to remotely analyze the damage, and plan restoration efforts.

The Matterport device utilizes an array of cameras to capture high-resolution 360-degree images of the surroundings. These images are taken from different angles to ensure comprehensive coverage. The captured images, along with depth data, are then sent to the Matterport cloud-based platform. Here, sophisticated algorithms stitch the images together and integrate the depth data to reconstruct a 3D model of the scene. This model accurately represents the dimensions and spatial relationships within the environment.

Once the 3D model is generated, users can virtually walk through the post-fire scene to explore the space from various angles, zoom in on specific areas, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the extent of damage caused by the fire.
