Storage Facilities

Offering a secure, climate-controlled environment for collected evidence from claims investigations, criminal and civil matters, as well as third-party storage, our warehouse in Urbandale, Iowa houses hundreds of cases and is managed by our Evidence Technician, Chelsea Abeltins. Chelsea ensures that the evidence stored here remains organized, free from unwanted tampering, and ready to go if and when needed for further investigation proceedings.

Artifacts are stored for future litigation, per state statutes, as well as for future non-destructive and destructive testing in our lab spaces.

IFIC offers secure storage spaces in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Illinois.

Lab Spaces

Experts are invited to our offices for joint party exams following site inspections so they may work together to determine the cause of a fire or failure within a collected artifact.

Prior to destructive examinations, X-ray images can be completed so we may see the internal workings of the evidence. X-ray imaging examines the internal structure of manufactured components,
identifying flaws and defects that may exist. This allows all involved parties to have an in-depth view of the appliance, electronic device, debris mass collected, etc. which would otherwise be unable to
be seen by the naked eye.
