Bret Desh earned his associate’s degree in Fire Science from Hutchinson Community College in 2009. He has served with the City of Papillion, Nebraska since 2014 and currently serves as the Lead Fire Investigator on the department’s Fire Investigation Team. He is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator (IAAI-CFI), a NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI), and an IAAI Fire Investigation Technician (IAAI-FIT). He holds certifications in Firefighter I & II, Fire Service Instructor, and Hazardous Materials. Bret is a licensed FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot with extensive aerial photography experience and a licensed Private Investigator in Iowa. He is an active member of the Nebraska Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and also belongs to the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF).
